The Irish Poker Festival is Just Around the Corner

After the hugely successful and brilliantly well-received inaugural Irish Poker Festival run last year in the sumptuous surroundings of the Intercontinental Hotel there is tremendous anticipation building before this year’s renewal. This is an incredible Festival hosted in Dublin’s best hotel. It is as simple as that.

The Irish Poker Festival runs from Tuesday 29th October to Sunday 3rd November in Ballsbridge on Dublin’s Southside with tournament guarantees of well over €1million and, at it’s heart, the €700,000 guaranteed Irish Poker Festival Main Event which has a €3,000 buy-in and runs from Wednesday to Sunday with a three-day format. The tournament clock is 60 minutes for all flights with the exception of the turbo flight on Friday evening which still has a 30 minute clock.

The always exciting €70k Mystery Bounty will be the early highlight as it runs on the Tuesday and the Wednesday. Several giant bounties will be pulled out by lucky players.

Ireland has always been home to some of the world’s best Omaha players and the €2,500 buy-in IPF Omaha Championship will bring them together with some of Europe’s best in the battle for the €70,000 guaranteed prizepool on Thursday 31st.

The €1,100 Irish Poker Championship which will run from Friday 1st to Sunday 3rd has a storied history, having been previously won by some of the greats of Irish poker including Padraig Parkinson, Steve Dwyer, and Jude Ainsworth; any player would love to add the title to their resumé.

Festival partners Coin Poker have won the naming rights to €2.5k NLH tournament which runs over the closing weekend and it is on Coin Poker that players seeking fabulous accommodation and Main Event entry packages should be spending their upcoming Sundays. Multiple packages are guaranteed every Sunday with plenty of feeder satellites available to suit every pocket.
